In my neighbourhood an informal look through the early evening light windows revealed no less than three fully decorated Christmas trees within one block of these tiny houses. Though many of us are still in denial, Christmas and the party season are upon us.

And before you say it, I know lots of companies are cutting back on entertaining their hardworking staff, but as it turns out friends and colleagues are taking things in their own hands. As with so many recessions, 'tis the time to be creative, huddle together and get merry during the extended Happy Hour at your (desperate for trade) local cocktail bar.
