Winter arrivals: Exclusive Olanic, plus 20% off vintage

As I write this, the heating is working overtime, it's so disgusting outside that even the dog decided she doesn't need to go that urgently, and I had to put on the light. At 2:30 p.m. It's not right. 

Luckily, we have one designer who knows about the cold: Scottish designer Niki Taylor, the young lady behind the Olanic label. Things have been going from strength to strength for Niki, who's exclusively available on nina&lola. At her Vauxhall Fashion Scout show during London Fashion Week Olanic presented exclusive designs in collaboration with Macintosh. Not content with one old-school synonym for quality, Niki got an exclusive wool fabric made up for this season by prestigious Scottish wool mill Lochcarron.

The black and pink school stripe finds its way into a cute schoolboy blazer, a distort dress and a bow-back skirt. The stripe is set against a crazy little wool jumper dress, a classic blouse and our favourite long light wool jacket with velvet trims.
