Occasionally Asked Questions

Where do you ship? We ship worldwide with Fedex.

Can I return items?
Of course you can. Returns are free and also with Fedex. The only items that can't be returned are custom orders (e.g. rings) and earrings (hygiene). Once the item is back with us you will also receive your shipping charges back, so ordering from us is risk-free.

Why does my order sometimes take so long? A lot of items on Nina and Lola are handmade to order (e.g. Fiona Paxton and BettyB). It may therefore take a few days until the item is ready. The expected leadtime is stated on the item page.

How can I pay? Either through Google Checkout or PayPal. While these may seem like unorthodox payment methods there are two advantages to these: Firstly, you only need to create an account once (which takes no time at all), and then you won't have to enter your card and other details again. Secondly, both have excellent security procedures.

Can I pay over the phone?
Regrettably not.

I live outside the UK. Why is the amount on my credit card different to the checkout amount? Nina and Lola is based in the UK and our default currency is the British pound. You can choose your local currency from the menu on the left. The exchange rate on our website is updated continuously. However the payment providers and your bank may use a slightly different exchange rate to us. This is out of our control and we are not responsible for any discrepancies.

What's the best way to contact you? Please always through 'Contact us' or directly to nina@ninaandlola.com. I'd be happy to call back if required, but since this is a small business we are not always here to answer the phone.

How can I submit designs to Nina and Lola? Please send your information through the 'Contact us' page. We get an awful lot of submissions, so please don't be offended if it's a no.

Do you buy vintage from private individuals? I'm afraid not.
