This necklace is one of my favourites for its bold, uncompromisingly luxurious modernisation of the classic pearl necklace. Strings of pearls are so predictable, and what better way to give them a rock n' roll edge than with a big spur as a clasp.

The item is made of white Akoya pearls with ruby beads. The spur clasp is made of solid 18-carat gold with black rhodium. This style is also available with black pearls and a yellow gold clasp.
